# Comparing before-and-after data

## Within one checker session

1. Run the initial diagnostics.
2. Make the required change or launch the product you are checking.
3. Select Refresh and compare.
4. Review changed, new and missing values.

Comparison uses the previous successful check.

## After closing the checker or restarting

1. Before making changes, save the original TXT report, for example before.txt.
2. Perform the required actions.
3. Reopen the checker and run diagnostics.
4. Select Compare with TXT and choose the original file.
5. Save the new report, for example after.txt.

The starting state is not automatically retained between sessions. Without a saved TXT report, you cannot reconstruct a comparison with the old state.

When contacting support, attach both files and explain what you did between checks and whether the PC was restarted.

A missing value can mean that data was unavailable during the new check. Consider report completeness. Changed identifiers do not guarantee an outcome in a third-party game.

The examples show the change summary and detailed before → after values. Could not check means that new data was not obtained; it does not confirm an identifier change.
