# 24-hour PUBG bans

PUBG issues 24-hour bans. DESYNC's developer and support do not control these checks and cannot cancel a ban or shorten it. PC preparation and behavior in matches depend on the user; these are the areas to address to reduce the risk of further bans.

## Recommendations after any PUBG ban

The following recommendations reflect DESYNC's practical experience and apply after any PUBG ban, including a temporary 24-hour restriction. Before launching again, prepare the system and reconsider your play style instead of waiting for further bans.

### 1. Prepare Windows

**More reliable: a clean Windows reinstall.** This is DESYNC's main recommendation after a ban. Use official Windows and complete [PC preparation](/desync-docs/russkii/english/pc-preparation.md) again. Updating the old installation does not replace a clean install. Back up the files you need beforehand.

**Faster but less reliable: a new Windows user and trace cleaning.** Create a new Windows account, restart the PC, sign in only as the new user, then clean PUBG user traces through the loader's advanced settings.

Follow every step carefully. Skipping a step, returning to the old user or reusing the previous configuration after a ban can undermine the preparation. Follow the [new Windows user and PUBG trace-cleaning procedure](/desync-docs/russkii/english/troubleshooting-and-support/hwid-ban-scenarios.md).

After either preparation method, use the spoofer with Trace cleaning enabled. Do not enable Use previous configuration after a ban. Follow the [PUBG launch order](/desync-docs/russkii/english/products/pubg.md); spoofing lasts until the PC restarts.

### 2. Change your IP if possible

DESYNC also recommends changing your external IP before subsequent launches. This is recommended, not mandatory, and is only an additional measure. Windows preparation and changes to your play style still matter.

### 3. Play as naturally as possible

DESYNC's main practical advice is to avoid sustained automatic fire and favor single shots. This is advice about play style, not a verified rule describing how the anti-cheat works.

Pay attention to your actions in every match:

* Do not track opponents with your crosshair through walls or other opaque obstacles.
* Consider what explains your actions to another player: sound, visual contact or teammates' information. Do not behave as though you always know hidden enemy positions.
* Do not overuse automatic aiming: abrupt target switches and unnatural accuracy make it noticeable.
* Review your gameplay recording from an opponent's perspective and change behavior that would be inexplicable without hidden information.

A spoofer, clean Windows and an IP change do not eliminate reports about your play style. Both PC preparation and behavior in matches need attention.

## What happens to an existing ban?

These measures prepare for future play. They do not remove an active account restriction or guarantee that another will not occur. For a temporary restriction, wait until the time shown by PUBG.

DESYNC's developer and support cannot cancel PUBG checks, shorten them or manually prevent the next ban. System preparation and in-game actions remain the user's responsibility.
