# Antivirus or anti-cheat conflict

### **CreateFileW error**

The **NiceAsset-BSOD aware!** window with `CreateFileW(...)` may appear because of a conflict with installed antivirus or anti-cheat software.

Check which antivirus and anti-cheat programs are installed, along with their notifications and blocking history. If you cannot identify the cause or the error returns, create a ticket in [@desync\_support\_bot](https://t.me/desync_support_bot) and attach a screenshot of the error and your logs.

### FACEIT / Vanguard

The warning's first word — FACEIT or Vanguard — identifies the anti-cheat that must be uninstalled.

## Example

The first line in the screenshot is FACEIT. Even if the rest of the window asks for a restart, uninstall the named anti-cheat first.

## What to do

1. Close the game, loader and applications associated with the anti-cheat.
2. Open the installed-apps list: search Start for Add or remove programs.
3. Find the anti-cheat and use the normal Uninstall button. Closing its tray icon is insufficient.
4. Restart the computer.
5. Run [DESYNC System Checker](/desync-docs/russkii/english/desync-system-checker.md), then follow the [normal launch procedure](/desync-docs/russkii/english/launching-the-loader.md).

## If the warning remains

If it persists after removal and a restart, [create a ticket and send logs](/desync-docs/russkii/english/troubleshooting-and-support.md). Attach the full warning and state which anti-cheat you removed. Add a TXT report if available.
